1. Terms

All reservations for the Private Room, provisional or confirmed, are made upon, and are subject to, the following Terms & Conditions and no variation thereof will be accepted unless agreed in writing with The Delaunay.
Written confirmation (via email or post) will confirm acceptance of The Delaunay's Terms & Conditions.

2. Interpretation

In these Terms & Conditions "The Delaunay" means Corbin & King Ltd., trading as The Delaunay Restaurant Ltd. and the "Client" means the person, firm or company booking The Delaunay Private Room.

3. Law

These Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to English Law.

4. Confirmation and Deposit

A written confirmation and a deposit of 50% of the minimum spend will be required from the Client to
guarantee a booking. The deposit can be paid by cheque (made payable to The Delaunay Restaurant Ltd.)
or credit card.
Final confirmation is required one week in advance of the event, at which point the remaining 50% of the
minimum spend will be charged.

5. Cancellation

This deposit will be non-refundable if cancellation is within 4 weeks of your event; otherwise you will be entitled to a refund of 50% of your deposit. We will use our best endeavours to secure a replacement booking in which case we will refund the full deposit, less any consequential loss.
The Delaunay will be entitled to cancel the booking at any time by written notice to the Client if the Client is in breach of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation of confirmed events shall only be accepted when received in writing.

6. Numbers

Confirmation of final numbers is required 72 hours prior to the date of the event. A reduction of the numbers after this time period will be chargeable as per the numbers confirmed at the 72 hour deadline. If the number attending is greater than the maximum capacity of the table, The Delaunay will be under no obligation to provide facilities or cater for the additional numbers.

7. Service Charge

A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to the Client's bill on all consumable items.

8. Minimum Spend

There is a minimum spend charge on food and drink, including service charge.
Breakfast: - The Corner Room £200, The Kean Room £250 and The Delaunay Private Rooms £250
Lunch: - The Corner Room £400, The Kean Room £600 and The Delaunay Private Rooms £750
Afternoon Tea: - The Corner Room £200, The Kean Room £250 and The Delaunay Private Rooms £250
Dinner: - The Corner Room £600, The Kean Room £800 and The Delaunay Private Rooms £1000

9. Payment

Any outstanding payment for an event must be made in full at the end of the event.
All major credit card details are accepted.
All payments must be paid in pounds sterling and are subject to Value Added Tax at the current rate.
Invoicing is subject to prior approval from the Directors of The Delaunay.

10. Timings

The standard timings for The Private Room are as below, though as we are working around existing reservations, these times are subject to change. Specific times for your event will be confirmed with your coordinator.

Breakfast: 7.00am (8.00am Saturday/9.00am Sunday) until 10.30am
Lunch: 12.00pm until 3.00pm
Afternoon Tea: 4.00pm -6.00pm
Dinner: 7.00pm until midnight (11.00pm on Sunday)
Use of the room outside the above times can be discussed and confirmed on a case by case basis.
The function shall start and finish in accordance with the timings specified or agreed in writing.
The Delaunay reserves the right to charge the Client additionally for use of the room after the specified time.

11. Menus & Wine List

Menus are based on seasonal availability and are subject to change, as are the prices. Any changes will be communicated by The Delaunay to the Client as timely as possible.

The Kean Room and The Delaunay Private Room:

We require all guests to choose a set menu of the same starter, main course (some menus have a choice of two main courses), and dessert for all guests. We do cater for dietary requirements and kindly ask to be advised of these in advance. In order to fully prepare for your reservation we require menu and wines choices to be confirmed 7 days prior to the date of the function.

The Corner Room (up to 10 guests)

The full restaurant a la carte menu will be available for guests to select from on the day. If the number attending increases beyond 10 guests, The Delaunay reserves the right to require a set menu for all guests.

Only food produced by The Delaunay kitchen is permitted for consumption on the premises.

12. Flowers

Red rose arrangements are provided for the table; although should you prefer, The Delaunay can also recommend a florist for you to arrange alternatives.

13. Equipment

The Private Room is primarily designed to be a dining room, however we do have a plasma screen should you require it for reservations in The Kean Room and The Delanuay Private Rooms.

14. The Delaunay Premises

The Client will ensure that:
No damage is caused to The Delaunay, its fittings, decorations and furnishings.
The conduct of its guests does not cause any nuisance or offence to other persons or guests visiting The Delaunay.
The client is to ensure that the guests do not access the bar after the event.
Photography is permitted in the Private Rooms, but not in public areas of the restaurant. We also request that flash is kept to a minimum when taking photos in the Private Room.
Any items belonging to the restaurant remain on the premises.
The guests fully comply with emergency procedures should the need arise.
