La Soirée at The Aldwych - Showing now until 3rd February
Just across the road, the Aldwych Theatre has recently re-opened following a multi-million-pound refurbishment. And the show it chose to re-open with… the Olivier award-winning theatrical phenomenon - La Soirée. A combination of cabaret, new burlesque, circus and contemporary variety, La Soirée promises to thrill, shock and make you laugh.
The Snowman at The Peacock - Showing now until 31st December
Celebrating 20 spellbinding years on stage, The Snowman transports children and their families into the wintery world of a boy and his magical snowman. Twinkling with festive spirit, this production is a heart-warming mix of dance, spectacle, storytelling, splendid sets and music performed by a live orchestra.
Belleville at the Donmar - From 7th December until 3rd February
Written by Amy Herzog, hailed as 'one of the brightest new talents in the theater' by the New York Times, Belleville is a story about a romantic dream gone wrong. Donmar debuts are made by Michael Longhurst (director) along with four of the UK's most exciting young actors including James Norton. Tickets are extremely limited but here are three more ways you can get in:
1. KLAXON tickets will be released on Mondays for performances two weeks later. Sign up to the mailing list for a reminder.
2. £10 standing tickets will be released on the day, every day at 10am. Book online, over the phone or in person. (Not available on 14th or 18th December).
3. For those aged 25 or under, YOUNG+FREE tickets are released on the last Friday of the month for the following month's performances. Tickets for Belleville will be offered by ballot to people signed up to the YOUNG+FREE list.
