We welcome registered guide dogs. We are unable to accommodate other dogs in the restaurant.
Reservations can be made online via our website or by calling us on 020 7499 8558. For larger parties or special requests, please contact us directly.
A number of tables are held for walk-in guests on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
We are unable to honour multiple bookings made for the same party.
We can seat parties of up to eight in the main restaurant. Our private dining room accommodates up to 24 guests.
The bar is available to book for groups of up to six, seven days a week. We are happy to assist with pre- or post-theatre drinks, celebrations, and private occasions. Please contact us at reservations@thedelaunay.com or call 020 7499 8558.
The Counter operates on a walk-in basis and does not accept individual reservations. The entire space is available for private hire and events. Please contact us to discuss availability.
If you need to cancel or amend your reservation, please do so as early as possible. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a charge. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the specific terms that apply.
All dishes are prepared in our main kitchen, where a wide range of ingredients are in use, including nuts, eggs, dairy, and gluten. We follow strict hygiene practices to minimise the risk of cross-contamination; however, we cannot guarantee that any dish is entirely free from allergens. Please speak to your waiter or a manager if you have specific concerns.
We offer both vegetarian and vegan dishes. Please ask your waiter for guidance on the day.
We can advise on gluten-free suitability across our menu. Please speak to your waiter or contact us ahead of your visit if you have specific requirements.
Our dishes are not Halal certified.
We do offer a dedicated children’s menu. Please speak to your waiter.
There is no dress code at The Delaunay.
High chairs are available on request. Baby changing facilities are located on the ground floor. Please note that space for buggies in the cloakroom area is limited.
Our doorperson is on hand during the evening to assist in flagging a taxi where possible.
Our standard discretionary service charge is 15% and this is automatically added to all bills.
All gratuities are managed by an independent, professional Troncmaster and distributed directly to our staff. The restaurant does not retain any portion of the service charge.
The Delaunay has always had a cover charge since opening in 2011 applied for lunch and dinner on main restaurant tables only, when the experience is enhanced fine linen, bread, and butter. Cover charge is not related to service change. In line with legislation, all tips/service charge is managed externally and 100% are distributed to employees.

In the unfortunate circumstances that you need to cancel the confirmed booking our cancellation policy is as follows. Cancellation must be advised in writing.
Greater than 30 days in advance of the event – no fee will be charged and any deposit paid returned.
29 days and less in advance of the event – 50% deposit forfeited.
7 days and less of the event – 100% deposit forfeited.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate more than 24 seated guests. If the number attending is greater than the maximum capacity of the table, The Delaunay will be under no obligation to provide facilities or cater for the additional numbers.
Breakfast: 7.00am – 10.30am (Monday – Friday); 8.00am – 11am (Saturday)
Lunch: 12.00pm – 4.00pm (Monday – Sunday)
Dinner: 6.00pm – 11:30pm (Monday – Saturday) , 6:00 – 11:00pm (Sunday)
Use of the room outside the above times can be discussed and confirmed on a case-by-case basis. The function shall start and finish in accordance with the timings specified or as agreed in writing. The Delaunay reserves the right to charge the client additionally for use of the room after the specified time.
Yes, we have a plasma screen available for use and a sound dock. Please speak to your event organiser to find out more.
We provide fresh flowers in the rooms as standard and you are more than welcome to decorate the room. However, we do not permit confetti and you can not adhere any items to the walls or windows.
We are delighted to welcome children to the restaurant and are able to offer high chairs for your use. Please note that the child’s seat will be included in the overall table number.
We would also like to advise that space is very limited for buggies in the cloakroom area.
No, any outstanding payment must be made in full at the end of the event. All major credit card details are accepted. All payments must be paid in pounds sterling and are subject to Value Added Tax at the current rate.
Yes, you will have a dedicated waiter looking after your event.
There is very limited single-yellow parking line spaces in this area. The closest parking facilities are the NCP Car Park at Parker Mews, off Drury Lane (WC2B 5NT).
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in except for registered assistance dogs.
Our dress code is smart-casual, and smart trainers are allowed.
Photography is permitted in the Private Rooms, but not in public areas of the restaurant. We also request that flash is kept to a minimum when taking photos in the Private Room.
Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve any space in the bar before or after your event.
Background music is permitted in the Private Rooms and we can provide a sound dock for your equipment to be played through. However, we do not allow live music of any kind, amplified or acoustic.
Yes, we are able to provide a selection of birthday or celebration cakes. Please speak to your events manager to place your order.
