The Delaunay is a European café and restaurant at 55 Aldwych, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner from Monday to Sunday. Inspired by the great cafés of Vienna and Paris, the menu moves through the day without pause — from Birchermüesli and Viennoiserie in the morning to Holstein Schnitzel and tartes flambées in the evening.
Perfectly placed for Covent Garden and the West End, The Delaunay is open all day, every day.
The ultimate in transatlantic chic, a salad, frites and a dry Martini, small but perfectly formed. The Aldwych Set is available at the bar.
Two of the most popular reasons to visit — daily afternoon tea and pre-theatre dining, steps from the West End.
The Delaunay is located at 55 Aldwych, London WC2B 4BB, on the corner of Aldwych and Drury Lane, a short walk from Covent Garden, Temple and Charing Cross stations.
Reservations are recommended, though a number of tables are held each day for walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis. Book online or call 020 7499 8558.
The Delaunay is open Monday to Friday from 7.00am and Saturday from 8.00am, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner throughout the day. The restaurant is open on Sundays from 11.00am.
